The Daily Trolloc (88)

Wheel of Time TV News
Still radio silence/holding pattern from Rafe... Might be time to accept this as the new norm from here on out. There really isn't much more that Rafe can probably share at this point without giving away too much about how the show will play out. Time will tell, but Narg thinks we won't get anything significant until the first bit of Casting news drops. Narg's looking forward to that with both anticipation and dread...

And as someone is bound to ask...Casting news will come out sometime between now and September...any other answer is a guess...Narg's guess is late July-early August for the lead role/s. Monday the 5th of August would be great for Narg...would be nice to have something substantial for the 100th edition of The Daily Trolloc.😉

No news means you'll have to put up with more casting from Narg...Kelly enjoyed it, and that's all the encouragement Narg needs to continue😄!
Remember, these picks by Narg are just actors that follow KVH Casting on social media, or have been previously cast by them and who Narg could see working in the role. It's just fun fan casting with a tad more realism than picking A list actors.

To get the ball rolling, Narg presents: Warren Rusher

Based on his appearance and >>Showreel<<, Narg could definitely see him playing Dain Bornhald. The only problem with that "canon" wise is that Dain in the books is only a little older than Rand(20), and Warren lists his playing age as 32 - 42. Narg doesn't see an older Dain(30ish) as a problem, but some would, so Narg's alternative pick for him would be another overzealous Whitecloak at the other end of his age range, Jaret Byar. It's all in the eyes...

He's got the acting chops and is a fan of the series. Would be great to see him get a role in the show.

Narg was going to avoid looking at possible Two Rivers cast members, due to people getting "excitable" over skin tones and not knowing which way Rafe is going to go in that regards, but screw it, Narg not let other people spoil his fun...

So first up: Eilidh Murray

When Narg was browsing KVH Casting's instagram followers, those big brown eyes jumped out at Narg...could only be Egwene al'Vere!

Eilidh is 23, lists her playing age as 16-25, and has experience in TV and stage since 2013 in the UK. Watch her showreel >>HERE<<.

To pair with Egwene, Narg found: Chloe O'Gorman

Nynaeve al'Meara potential if you ask Narg...(Eye color aside). Narg definitely saw glimpses of Nynaeve in  her >>showreel<< (shes the one with long hair).

That's it for #NargCasting this week...onto...

General Wheel of Time News

A video resurfaced that recaps The Wheel of Time and basically means we no longer need a TV show. Narg has doubts Rafe can top this...

Daniel B Greene examined the Battle of Dumai's Wells:

Another week another new WoT Podcast pops up...The Winespring Inn takes a look at "What is the Wheel of Time" in its first episode.
