Wheel of Time TV News
Rafe decided to be a tad more cryptic this week for Wheel of Time Wednesday๐Ÿ˜.

There were a few takes on what it could mean.
  • Set design starting
  • Writers' room working on Loial and Caemlyn
  • Reaching Fal Dara
  • A reference to Prague
  • Loial casting tease
For Narg, the most likely meaning is the writers are working on Fal Dara scenes, as that's when the greeting is first used, and based on Narg's rough calculations, that is about where they'd be up to in breaking down the first season. If so, that would put Fal Dara either at the beginning or ending of episode five, depending on how much they are fitting into each episode. Trolloc's are bad at maths though, so Narg could be way off...

The only other TV related stuff was that, the Prague news from last week started to circulate the web. Tor.com, Bleeding Cool, Den of Geek and Comicbook.com all had articles based on the Publisher Weekly listing.

Tor released an excerpt of chapter one of the deleted Wheel of Time scene, that will be in Unfettered III:

A Fire Within the Ways
Chapter 1: The Gate
Perrin stepped through the gateway into Cairhien, gripping his hammer, and looked right and then left down the narrow, cobbled alley. It was night, and the alley was dark—though lantern light shining through the gateway painted the cobbles golden at his feet.
The city was rank with the smells of men: smoke from nearby chimneys, the lingering aroma of powders and perfumes, even the scent of paint on the wooden boards of the alley—long dried and gone stale. Missing was the scent of rotting food so commonly associated with cities. Not even the smallest scraps were left to rot in Cairhien these days.

If you are a long term reader of The Daily Trolloc, you may remember this article Narg did about Height in WoT. The gist was to scale down the heights to make thing's easier for casting and filming. The only problem was Narg got the average Aiel height wrong. Narg realised his mistake when he read this:

Email from Jordan saying Aiel are about 6รข€™2รข€ on average
6'2"!

That totally screwed up Narg's height chart...thankfully there was an easy fix...

The above email is from the New Spring Graphic Novel. Another interesting email was one that referenced the comparative "period" setting of the books:

1690-1700's
