The Wheel of Time TV Show

What we know:

Production Studio - Sony Pictures Television
Production Company - Radar Pictures
Show Runner - Rafe Judkins
Executive Producers - Ted FieldMike WeberDarren LemkeRed Eagle
Consulting Producer - Harriet McDougal

New News: Not a peep since JordanCon back in April at which we learnt the following:
Sony Pictures Television has signed a contract with executive producer Ted Field of Radar Productions (with whom Bandersnatch Group signed a contract last year) to develop a TV production of the Wheel of Time series.
Related News:

Apple TV who reportedly have 1 Billion dollars set aside for up to ten new shows, have revealed their first two shows. An Amazing Stories reboot by Steven Spielberg and Bryan Fuller and a drama set in the world of a network morning show. Wikipedia describes Amazing Stories as a "fantasy, horror, and science fiction television anthology series"
The straight-to-series orders for both projects are the first fruits of the effort to rev up Apple Video’s entry into the premium TV arena. The tech giant recruited former Sony Pictures TV presidents Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg in June to head the production push, which aims to target a global audience.
So that leaves around eight more chances for Wheel of Time to find a home there. You'd think they'd try at least one Game of Thrones type show and the two former Sony Execs must know about WoT. Lets hope their past negotiations with REE didn't put them off as WoT is running out places to find a home at.

Disney will also be entering the streaming market in 2019 and  have given a peek at what they have lined up so far:
Chief Executive Bob Iger said today the company would develop a live-action Star Wars television series for the Disney-branded service. The studio also is working on TV adaptations of Pixar’s Monsters Inc., a fresh look at the High School Musical franchise, and an original series from Marvel.
Just another possibility... Neither Apple of Disney would be ideal for Narg(he has subscriptions coming out the wazoo), but beggars can't be chooses!

Some guy posted over on Dragonmount that he knows somebody who knows somebody that works over at Sony. I'd quote him but DM is down for an update but the gist was that Sony are committed and serious about making the WoT show. Even if we believe that tenuous link and take what he said as being true, Sony being serious and committed means diddly if they can't find someone to pay them to make the show and this friend of a friend failed to mention if they had. So really nothing new......

If Wheel of Time ever gets an Animated TV series, voice actor Will Friedle will be chomping at the bit to get in on it.

Who you say?
Will Friedle has endured and enjoyed the TV & Animated industry for over 20 years now, voicing hundreds of animated characters in a ton of popular shows such as being Star-Lord in the brand-new Disney and Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy animated series and Bumblebee in Transformers Robots in Disguise animated series. The list goes on and on, including Batman Beyond, Spiderman and Deadpool.
Why you say?
Oh yeah! There’s some fun stuff. I’m most relaxed and most at myself when I am sitting down somewhere quiet with a big thick fantasy novel in my hand. That’s when I am the happiest! When I’m halfway through the Wheel of Time for my eighth time around
Quotes are from an Interview Friedle did with Supernova.

It's a pity there isn't some big shot TV executive out there on his/her 8th reread....

Narg conducted a totally scientific poll on how fans wanted to watch a Wheel of Time show if it makes onto our screens. Narg polled his Nargites on Twitter and Facebook to see if one differed from the other.

Almost identical results!(There be very little overlap of Nargites following Narg on both platforms)
