New News: Not a peep since JordanCon back in April.

Related News:

Nothing related in the last week, but you may find this interesting. as you can see belongs to Narg. Narg snapped it up the day Harriet made that first announcement. What you might not know is there are two other similar registered domains. (parked at godaddy)

Name:Richard Selvage
Organization:Verite VX
Creation Date: 2015-02-02

Richard Selvage would be Rick Selvage from Red Eagle Entertainment, Narg assumes. He registered it one year before Harriet announced the legal issues had been resolved(April 16) and about a week before Winter Dragon aired(February 15). He has since renewed it. Narg could find nothing on Verite VX. (parked at godaddy)

Creation Date: 2016-01-24

As you can see the creation date was after Winter Dragon but before Harriet's announcement. Was Matt just being smart like Narg or is he involved somehow? Narg not know. Narg found it interesting though.

General Wheel of Time News

Brandon Sanderson dropped in on r/WoT to impart some trivia:
As far as I know, the only other person Harriet ever considered to finish the Wheel of Time was GRRM.
It was decided very quickly into the process that it wouldn't be fair to him, or his fans, to ask him. (Before someone jumps on the obvious joke, note that this was before George's lateness became the meme it is today.) After that conversation was had, Harriet started looking for other options, and settled on me.
George and RJ were very good friends, and I know that Mr. Jordan was a big fan of George's writing. RJ gave a very influential cover blurb to ASoIaF at the beginning, which helped it start to take off.

The ebook edition of The Eye of the World Graphic Novel: Vol. 1 written by Robert Jordan and adapted by Chuck Dixon and Chase Conley, is now on sale for only $2.99. This offer will only last for a limited time, so order your copy today!

Volume One contains the first eight issues of The Wheel of Time comic book published by Dynamite Entertainment. Sale ends September 1st!

The WoT Facebook page brought to Nargs attention that there is a fan created version of "Snakes and Foxes"
As played by children all across RandLand, you and a partner must enter the realm of the Snakes & Foxes at the center of the board, run to the edge, and return to the center and escape without being eaten by the snakes or foxes.
Unlike the classic children's game, this game is winnable, though it requires both great skill and luck!  The PDF contains all the rules as well as a sample board and game pieces; you'll require six standard six-sided dice (or play the optional diceless variant). The game may be played solo or with two players.
H.P. from the Every Day Should Be Tuesday blog posted a review of Robert Jordan's Conan books.
Jordan isn’t the stylist Howard was, and he didn’t try to be.  But his Conan books feature his finest prose, especially the latter books.  He didn’t laden it with as much description as he later would.  He gets a little overambitious with the vocabulary, but the results can be beautiful.
Worth a read if you've been unsure on whether to try Jordan's Conan books.

Narg googled Wheel of Time merchandise to what competition there was for his own line of merchandise(sales have been slow) and found some stuff on this page(warning has annoying popups). Most interesting was the Wheel of Time weapons section.

To bad you can't buy them anymore:(
